Please pray for my high school friend Brian. He just found out last week that he has stage 4 cancer in his colon that has spread to his liver. He is having a port put in behind his collarbone today at Roswell and will be starting Chemo February 23. Doctors are saying that he has a 60% chance of life expectancy of up to five years. Once he reaches five years the chance of making a full recovery will be moved to 80%-90% of full life expectancy. Please pray that they would feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit and believe with me that he will make a full recovery with a testimony that will increase the faith of all his friends and family.

Please pray for God's hand of protection, healing, and peace that passeth all understanding for my sweet Mom, Betty Jean and devoted Dad, George.

Mom is 94 years young, has been dealing with leukemia with grace and inspiration for many years. At 86, she had her first round of chemo, which was again necessary at 93 years of age.

As the leukemia has now become aggressive, she has been fortunate to be approved for a very expensive cancer medication, and receive some funding assistance for what many patients call "the miracle drug".

Just when things were looking up for surviving the cancer, it was coincidentally discovered that she has severe stenosis of her aortic valve which has actually failed.

On Thursday this week, Mom is scheduled for a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). This surgery has actually been successfully performed recently for a woman that is 103 years.

As a family, we are optimistic and hopeful for a positive outcome, knowing that all things are possible in Him. Please join us in praying for God's wisdom, discernment, and guidance for the medical team caring for Mom.

My Dad who is 93, has enjoyed 72+ years of marriage with his bride and best friend and is so concerned for his sweetheart. He is Mom's primary motivation to keep going. My parents are still living independently in their own home, and would not likely survive long if ever needing to live apart. They are however, considering moving together into a continual care community if all goes well with Mom's cardiac surgery.

Mom and Dad have both led God filled lives and blessed us incredibly with their example of a long and lasting love. We are so grateful to have them in our lives, and it is now our privilege to cover them with prayer, as they have done for their family and so many others through the years.

Thank you for being a part of giving this gift of prayer with us for an amazing couple! Mom and Dad and all of us are more grateful than words could ever express!

We ask this, In His Holy Name

This morning's service was awesome. The worship was great and the message was great. I was glad it was Oasis, it's great to have people to pray with you. Please pray continued healing for our family. Pray my dad deals with issues. Pray healing for my cousin Peggy who has a blood disease. Her counts are too low. Pray healing for my cousin Gordon who needs a new heart and for Grandma Effie whose mind is worse. I think it would be great if someone could visit her at Elderwood Assisted Living in Hamburg. Thank you.

My step-father, Ed Boldt, has brain cancer. He was diagnosed in August, 2015 and as a result came to know the Lord. He was baptized at Hamburg and despite his limited mobility, still makes it to church almost every weekend. Things are getting worse for him, he's starting to have seizures every day as the cancer spreads. Please pray for him. We have set up a funding campaign to help defray from of the extraordinary costs of treatment. Please pass this along. Thank you.
